Boarding Details
FOOD AND MEDICATION
Food: You may bring your own food or feed ours for a small fee. However, we believe keeping your pet on a consistent diet minimizes upset tummies, so bringing your own food is usually the best option. Dog’s food must be in individual Ziploc bags per feeding (ie 2 bags per dog per day) Cats food can be brought in 1 Ziploc bag or airtight container for the entire stay. If they are eating can food just bring the amount they need. (new paragraph) Medication: Must bring any needed medication. Please have meds in their original containers or zip lock bags separate from the food. We need to know the name, amount to be given, & time of day (ie Novox, 1 pill, AM & PM). If there is a certain way you give the meds, such as in cheese or pill pocket, please bring it with you and let us know. This insures your furry friend is getting what it needs when it needs it.
VACCINATIONS
All doggie guests must have Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella up to date per vets recommendation. Our feline visitors need to have had a Rabies shot and FVRCP up to date per vets recommendation. We also require your pet is on regular up to date flea preventative.
BEDDING & TOYS
We provide raised beds (for dogs) as well as soft beds or blankets. If you so desire, you may bring a SMALL blanket or scent article. Please NO big blankets & NO beds. We wash everything before going home and this makes it difficult. If you would like to bring a toy or chew bone that is no problem. Please make sure it is machine washable or able to be put in a sink and washed. Also, make sure it does not have holes that stuffing is coming out of.
***The only thing we do not accept is tennis balls as they are potential choking hazards.
